Second Suspect in Christmas Eve ATM Burglary Arrested in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA – Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus of the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 66-year-old Dominic Troiani of McKees Rocks, the second suspect in a Christmas Eve ATM burglary. Troiani faces multiple charges, including four bench warrants for theft and burglary.

Pittsburgh Police have charged Troiani with the theft of an ATM from a downtown business on Christmas Eve. Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office located Troiani earlier today in a vehicle at the BP Station on East Carson Street. As detectives attempted to arrest him, Troiani tried to flee in his vehicle, nearly hitting a detective.

The arrest marks a significant development in the case, following extensive investigative efforts. The Sheriff’s Office continues to work closely with Pittsburgh Police in resolving this high-profile burglary. Further details about the case will be released as the investigation progresses.
