Man Found Shot in Car in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A man was found shot inside a vehicle yesterday afternoon in Northwest Baltimore.

Northwest District patrol officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Penhurst Avenue at around 12:57 p.m. to respond to a shooting report.

On-site, the officers found a 38-year-old man wounded in the leg inside a vehicle. The victim, who was unwilling to cooperate with the police, did not disclose the location where the incident occurred. He was subsequently taken to a local hospital; his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.


Detectives specializing in shooting cases from the Northwest District have taken over the investigation. The authorities seek information from the public and encourage anyone knowledgeable about the incident to contact the Northwest District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2466.
