Serious Two-Vehicle Collision in Etna Investigated

ETNA, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction and Homicide Unit is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Etna. The incident was reported to County 9-1-1 at 2:30 PM, involving a Mercedes Sedan and a Dodge Ram pickup at the intersection of State Route 8 and Kittaning Street.

Both vehicles, traveling north on Route 8, collided when the Mercedes struck the Dodge Ram as it turned right onto Kittaning Street. The drivers of both vehicles, adult males, were seriously injured and transported to local hospitals in stable condition. No other passengers were involved in the accident.

Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the collision. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
