BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – The Bergen County Office of Emergency Management warns of potential flooding and high winds as a result of today’s storm. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch and Wind Advisory, anticipating rain estimates between 2-4 inches and wind gusts up to 47 MPH.

Residents in flood-prone areas are urged to prepare for possible flooding. Contributing factors include saturated ground, high water tables, and snowmelt. Additionally, the forecasted high winds pose a risk for downed trees and potential power loss.

For real-time updates on road closures and safety information, residents are encouraged to monitor the Bergen County Emergency Management Facebook page. For emergencies, dial 911, and for non-emergencies, contact 201-337-6171.
