McKeaon County Courts Announce Multiple Prison Sentences

MCKEAN COUNTY, PA – District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announced the sentencing of several individuals in McKean County Court on January 4. Amanda Zampogna, a resident of Kane, received a prison sentence of 15 to 30 months, with an additional 30 months of concurrent probation.

She was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Felony, following a near-fatal fentanyl overdose of her baby on July 22, 2023. The child, who has since fully recovered, was exposed to fentanyl and xylazine due to Zampogna’s drug paraphernalia.

In a separate case, Nicholas White, from Bradford, was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in state prison, plus 3 years of consecutive probation. His charges include Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, and Flight to Avoid Apprehension. He is also required to pay restitution to the victims.


Additionally, Jessica Blood was sentenced to 15 to 30 months in state prison and 30 months concurrent probation for selling methamphetamine to a cooperating individual under surveillance by the McKean County Drug Task Force.

Finally, Gene Meacham, also from Bradford, received a 20 to 40 months prison sentence for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
