FALL RIVER, MA – Julio Ardon, a 26-year-old resident of Fall River, was apprehended on Thursday, by the Fugitive Unit in the area of 464 Birch Street, Fall River.
Ardon was wanted on an East Boston District Court warrant for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. This charge relates to the death of Wilfredo Landaverde Arevalo, 34, of Medford.
The original incident occurred at approximately 6:39 AM on Friday, December 15, 2023. Officers from the East Boston District were dispatched to 186 Gove Street following a report of a stabbing. They found an adult male with life-threatening stab wounds. The victim, later identified as Arevalo, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
