QUEENS, NY – Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced on Friday that Thomas Saxton, 36, of East Rockaway, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for an incident at Cohen’s Children Medical Center.

In February 2022, Saxton threatened to kill his wife at the hospital while armed with two loaded guns.  Responding officers arrested Saxton at the scene, where they also found ammunition and cocaine.

Saxton pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

His sentencing includes four years post-release supervision.
