FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced the recent charges against Stephon Keys, 31, of Neptune Township, in connection with the 2016 shooting death of Andre Thorne, a 20-year-old resident of Bradley Beach.

Keys faces multiple counts, including first-degree Felony Murder and Armed Robbery.

The incident traces back to February 8, 2016, when Neptune Township Police responded to a shooting on the 1300 block of 7th Avenue, finding Thorne with a fatal gunshot wound.

Subsequent investigations connected the shooting to another incident the same evening on Monroe Avenue. Keys, already in custody for separate charges, was identified as responsible for both incidents.

Quashon J. McDuffie and Knaliek Joshua were previously charged in this case. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the Neptune Township Police Department continue their investigation and ask anyone with information to come forward.
