Tragic Death of Teen at Avenue N “F” Train Station Under Investigation

BROOKLYN, NY – A tragic incident unfolded on Friday, January 12 at approximately 1420 hours at the Avenue N “F” train station within the confines of the 66th Precinct. Police responded to a 911 call reporting a person struck by a train.

Upon their arrival, authorities discovered the lifeless body of Alam Reyes, a 14-year-old from Queens. The young teenager had been struck by a southbound F train.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) promptly responded to the scene but pronounced Alam Reyes deceased on-site. The exact cause of his death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.


This harrowing incident has left the community in shock and mourning the loss of a young life. The circumstances surrounding the tragedy are still under investigation by law enforcement.
