Virginia Beach Police Find Man, 48, Shot After Multiple 911 Calls

The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on January 15 at 5:22 PM in the 2500 block of Mulberry Loop.

Virginia Beach Emergency Communications and Citizen Services received several calls about the shooting. VBPD officers and Virginia Beach Rescue teams were dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival, they found Danny Theis, a 48-year-old male from Virginia Beach, with a gunshot wound. He received immediate medical attention and was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The VBPD Homicide Unit, treating the incident as domestic-related, is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances of the shooting.
