Police Respond to Early Morning Gunshot Victim in Homestead

Homestead, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit is investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of the morning in Homestead. The incident took place in the 1000 block of West Street at approximately 4:20 a.m.

County 9-1-1 received a report of the shooting, and first responders arriving on the scene found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his back. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department are actively investigating the shooting. They are seeking information from the public to assist in their inquiries.
