BALTIMORE, MD – A dramatic turn of events led to the swift arrests of two suspects in a carjacking case in Southeast Baltimore yesterday. The incident began around 6:27 p.m. in the 800 block of Ramsey Street, triggering an immediate response from local law enforcement.

Two victims reported being carjacked by two unidentified male suspects. The victims, who had just exited their vehicle, were confronted by the suspects armed with a handgun. Under duress, the victims handed over their property, after which the suspects fled in the stolen vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the confrontation.

Later that evening, at approximately 8:42 p.m., a collaborative effort involving multiple law enforcement units led to a significant breakthrough. Members of the Foxtrot (Aviation Unit), Southeast District Patrol units, Metro Mobile Unit (MMU), and Northeast District Action Team successfully located and apprehended the suspects in the 3500 block of Pulaski Highway. The suspects, identified as a 21-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, were promptly taken into custody.

Both individuals were transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where they currently await the formal pressing of charges.
