Bethesda Pharmacy Delivery Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of Elderly Woman

A Bethesda man, employed as a pharmacy delivery person, has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting an elderly woman. Montgomery County Police responded to an incident that occurred at a residence on East-West Highway on January 10, 2024.

The suspect, identified as 65-year-old Yuriy Ravdugin, is accused of forcibly touching the victim after entering her home under the guise of making a delivery. Following the report, detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) launched an investigation.

An arrest warrant was issued for Ravdugin on January 16, leading to his arrest in Takoma Park on January 17, while he was in the process of making deliveries. Ravdugin now faces charges of second-degree assault and sexual offenses.


Currently, he is being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit pending a bond hearing.
