Three Arrested in Glen Burnie Traffic Stop for Weapon Possession

GLEN BURNIE, MD – On Wednesday, at approximately 1:35 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted by an officer of the Northern District on Dover Road near Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, leading to the arrest of three individuals for weapon possession.

The silver Acura TL, occupied by three males, was stopped for a registration violation.

During the stop, a handgun was found in possession of the driver. The situation escalated when one passenger attempted to start the vehicle and fled on foot, but was soon apprehended.


Near his location, a weapon was recovered. A third handgun was seized from the remaining passenger. All three suspects were taken into custody and face charges related to the incident.

The arrested individuals are identified as Montez Davon Spears, 19, Damonte Dashawn Spears, 18, and Je’Kwon Dasean Austin, 23, all residents of Glen Burnie, Maryland.
