CUMBERLAND, MD – The Cumberland City Police Department announced the arrest of Rachael Nicole Dolly, 35, of Cumberland, on multiple charges including burglary and probation violation.

Dolly was apprehended on Tuesday, January 23, following two active warrants issued by the Allegany County District Court. The first, an Arrest Warrant, stemmed from a burglary incident reported on January 20. Police responded to a residence in the 400 block of Washington St, where Dolly was identified as having broken into the home several times over a few days while the tenant was absent.

In addition to the burglary charge, Dolly faced a Bench Warrant issued on January 21 for violating probation terms related to a prior destruction of property conviction. During her arrest, Dolly was found in possession of suspected controlled dangerous substance (CDS) paraphernalia, leading to an additional criminal citation.

Following her arrest, Dolly was presented at an Initial Appearance before a District Court Commissioner. She was subsequently remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center and is being held without bond. The charges against her include possession of CDS paraphernalia and multiple counts of fourth-degree burglary, alongside the probation violation.
