NYPD Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect in Union Square Robbery

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at Union Square station.

The incident occurred on Monday, January 15, around 2:20 a.m.

A 28-year-old male victim reported that an unidentified male, described as approximately 6 feet tall with a medium complexion, approached him, demanded property, and forcibly took his backpack before fleeing the station.


The NYPD has released media related to the suspect, available at the DCPI.

They encourage anyone with information about the incident to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline. The investigation is ongoing, and all calls are kept confidential.
