Suspects Target Teenagers in Multiple Robberies in the Bronx

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is investigating a series of robberies in the Bronx.

The first incident, on Saturday, December 23, 2023, involved a 14-year-old victim near Lafayette Avenue and Beach Avenue. Four males demanded his belongings, brandished a knife, and fled with his phone and wallet.

The second incident on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, involved a 12-year-old near Underhill Avenue and Story Avenue. After refusing to surrender his belongings, he was assaulted and robbed of his coat and phone. The young victim sustained minor injuries.


The department has released media related to the first incident and is seeking public assistance.
