20-Year-Old Shot And Killed In Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A fatal shooting in Baltimore’s Eastern District is currently under investigation following a ShotSpotter alert on Friday night. At approximately 10:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of East Preston Street.

On arrival, they found a 20-year-old male with a critical gunshot wound. The victim was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital, but despite all efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation. The Baltimore Police Department is urging anyone with information about this tragic incident to contact their Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
