New Jersey Lawmaker Slams Biden Administration Over Troop Deaths in Middle East

Trenton, NJ – Assemblyman Christian Barranco of New Jersey criticized the current federal policies, attributing them to the endangerment of Americans, both domestically and abroad. His comments come in the wake of a recent drone attack in Jordan, which resulted in the deaths of three U.S. soldiers.

Barranco, representing Morris, emphasized the need for the United States to reassume its role as a global leader, particularly in securing its borders. He pointed out the perceived failure of President Biden’s foreign policies, connecting these policies to the tragic incident in Jordan.

The Assemblyman, whose heritage traces back to Cuban immigrants, is calling on Governor Phil Murphy to support the efforts of other state governors, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, in enhancing border security. He noted that twenty-five governors have already expressed their backing for Abbott’s stance against the federal government’s handling of border control.

Highlighting the contrast between airport security protocols and border control, Barranco expressed concerns about national security. He argued that while strict measures are in place at airports, the southern border remains vulnerable, allowing potential threats to enter the country with relative ease.
