Suspect in D.C. Shooting Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, DC – In the wake of a shooting incident in Northeast Washington, D.C., the D.C. Metro Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect. The shooting took place on January 11th.

At around 9:26 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of East Capitol Street following reports of gunfire. Although initial investigations at the scene revealed evidence of a shooting, no victims were immediately found. Subsequently, an individual with critical gunshot wounds sought treatment at a local hospital, confirming the shooting incident.

The suspect’s image was captured on a nearby surveillance camera.

Authorities advise the public not to approach the suspect and to leave any intervention to law enforcement officers.
