12-Year-Old, 13-Year-Old Arrested for Vehicle Break-Ins

BALTIMORE, MD – On the evening of January 29, 2024, Central District Patrol officers and Detectives swiftly responded to a report of suspects allegedly breaking into vehicles in the 2100 block of Aliceanna Street. The incident was reported to have occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers noticed three individuals dressed in dark clothing. Before the officers could approach, the suspects attempted to flee on foot. After a brief chase, two of the three suspects were apprehended, while the third suspect managed to evade capture and remains unidentified.

A notable discovery was made during the apprehension. One of the suspects was found carrying a replica pistol in a cross-body bag. Surveillance footage and eyewitness accounts confirmed that these individuals were involved in breaking into several vehicles in the area.


The two apprehended suspects, a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old male, were transported to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center (BCJJC) where they are expected to face charges related to the incident. The quick response and effective action of the Central District officers and detectives played a crucial role in addressing this criminal activity and ensuring the safety of the community.
