Suspect at Large in Southeast D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police in Southeast D.C. are actively seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a shooting incident.

The event occurred on Thursday, January 4th, at around 4:05 p.m., in the 1600 block of Butler Street, Southeast. According to the report, the victim was operating their vehicle when the suspect fired shots at the car. Although the vehicle was hit, the victim fortunately escaped without injuries.

Surveillance footage capturing the suspect has been released.


The police encourage anyone with information related to this incident to come forward. However, they advise against direct public engagement with the suspect.
