NEW YORK CITY, NY – A physical assault that occurred on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at approximately 9:55 pm is under investigation by the New York City Police Department. The incident took place inside a commercial establishment at 1501 Broadway.
The report states that a 28-year-old male victim was involved in a verbal dispute with two unknown individuals.
Upon leaving the restroom, he was pepper-sprayed and stabbed in the abdomen by one of the assailants. The suspects then fled the scene on foot heading north on Broadway. The victim was taken to Mount Sinai West in stable condition.
Descriptions of the assailants have been released: the first is a medium-complexioned male with medium build, wearing a multi-colored outfit, and the second is a light-complexioned male with curly hair, dressed in black and gray.
The NYPD has provided media depicting the suspects and is requesting public assistance for information.
