FBI Hunting Fugitive Wanted for New Rochelle Murder

New Rochelle, NY – The FBI’s New York Field Office has joined forces with the New Rochelle Police Department to locate Mtayari Dixon, who faces murder charges stemming from an incident on October 26. According to authorities, Dixon is accused of fatally shooting a man following a verbal dispute in New Rochelle. Following the incident, Dixon allegedly fled to Stamford, Connecticut, by train, from where he is believed to have taken a bus to Atlanta, Georgia, before moving on to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dixon has significant connections to Charlotte, Atlanta, Stamford, and New Rochelle, which have become focal points in the ongoing manhunt. The New Rochelle City Court issued a state arrest warrant for Dixon on November 14, formally charging him with murder.

In an effort to apprehend Dixon, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that directly leads to his capture.
