WALL, N.J. – The Wall Police Department reported an attempted residential burglary on Tuesday, occurring at around 3:00 a.m. at a residence on Apple Ridge Circle.

Detectives investigating the scene found that the burglars had forcibly entered the garage through a window.

However, their attempt to access the main residence was unsuccessful as the door connecting the garage to the home was locked.

The homeowner, who was upstairs at the time, was alerted by the commotion and promptly contacted the police. The burglars had opened the garage door and fled the scene before police arrival. It is suspected that their motive was to steal the homeowner’s Mercedes Benz parked in the driveway.

The Wall Police Department is seeking information related to this incident. Community members with any relevant surveillance or knowledge are asked to contact the Wall Police at 732-449-4500.
