Juvenile Struck in, Critical, in Baltimore Hit and Run

BALTIMORE, MD – On Monday, at approximately 3:50 p.m., a severe hit-and-run crash occurred on the 300 block of Arden Road West, involving a 4-year-old girl.

The Northern District officers responded to the scene where they found the juvenile pedestrian with critical injuries after being struck by a 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan.

The driver, a 17-year-old male from Baltimore, initially fled the scene. However, thanks to witness information, officers were able to locate the vehicle and identify the driver.


The injured child was promptly taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital by Baltimore City Fire personnel.

The Traffic Safety Section is conducting an open and ongoing investigation into the incident. The community is asked to provide any additional information that could aid in the inquiry.
