Annapolis Business Employee Arrested for Series of Cash Deposit Thefts

Annapolis, MD – In a significant development, Annapolis police apprehended a 42-year-old Gambrills man, James Bowen, on charges related to the theft of multiple cash deposits from a local business. The arrest took place on Friday, February 2, at around 2:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Street, following a report of theft.

Bowen is accused of stealing five separate cash deposits from the business over recent months, with the stolen amounts totaling between $1,500 and $25,000. Following his arrest, Bowen was charged with theft in the specified range and subsequently released on his own recognizance.
