Pittsburgh, PA – Pennsylvania State Police and Pittsburgh Police Department officers responded to a call regarding a man found with stab wounds in an apartment in Rankin overnight.
The victim informed PSP that the altercation took place outside McFadden’s Bar on the North Side, stemming from a dispute with another individual earlier that evening.
Upon arrival at the scene, Pittsburgh Police discovered a trail of blood along the sidewalk. Security footage obtained from outside the establishment showed the victim being repeatedly struck in the stomach area. The suspect was then seen fleeing the scene, eventually escaping in a nearby vehicle.
Emergency services transported the injured man to a local hospital where he was initially listed in critical condition. His status has since been updated to stable, following medical care.
