Teen Arrested in Southeast D.C. Shooting Incident

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department has announced the arrest of a 16-year-old male in connection with a shooting that occurred on January 3rd in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Southeast, D.C.

The incident, which took place at approximately 8:47 a.m., involved the suspect firing a gun at a victim. Fortunately, the bullet missed, and the suspect subsequently fled the scene.

Following a thorough investigation, detectives apprehended the juvenile from Southeast, D.C., on Friday. He faces charges including Assault with Intent to Murder, Possession of an Unregistered Firearm, Possession of Unregistered Ammunition, and Receiving Stolen Property.
