One Injured in Suspected Arson Fire at Marietta Home

MARIETTA, PA – On Sunday, at approximately 3:38 pm, officers from the Susquehanna Regional Police Department (SRPD) responded to a house fire at 617 Anderson Ferry Road.

Upon arrival, they encountered a tenant with severe burn injuries. The tenant, suffering from first and second-degree burns, received immediate medical attention.

Initially treated at Lancaster General Hospital, the individual was subsequently transferred to the Lehigh Burn Center for specialized care.


The PSP State Police Fire Marshall assisted the SRPD in investigating the scene. The fire has been classified as intentional, and inquiries are ongoing to determine the cause.

No other tenants were harmed in the incident. The SRPD asks anyone with information to contact Sgt. Michael Kimes or provide tips through the provided contact channels.
