New Jersey’s Growing Migrant Crisis is Donald Trump’s Fault, President Says

NEWARK, NJ – The state of New Jersey is on the verge of having its own migrant crisis as New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ ban on buses of immigrants is landing those seeking asylum here in the Garden State.

Millions of migrants from all over the world are crossing America’s southern border annually and now, many are heading to New Jersey, causing Governor Phil Murphy to issue a statement that the state cannot afford the influx.

According to U.S. President Joe, Biden, the flow of illegal immigrants from the South is former President Donald Trump’s fault.

President Biden attributed the challenges at the U.S. border to Republican policies and opposition, suggesting that former President Donald Trump’s efforts, including the border wall, did not genuinely aim for border security.

Biden’s comments come amidst reports of a significant increase in illegal crossings since his tenure began, with data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) indicating a fourfold rise compared to the period under Trump,” Biden said. “Republicans have to decide. For years they said they want a secure the border.” “The former president is desperately trying to stop this bill because he’s not interested in solving the border problem. He wants a political issue to run against me.”

Biden criticized the Republican stance on border security, urging them to clarify their position. He argued that despite longstanding calls from Republicans for a secure border, actions taken—or not taken—suggest other motives. Specifically, Biden accused Trump of opposing current legislative efforts to address border security, suggesting that Trump prefers to maintain the issue as a political talking point rather than seek a resolution.

For the first two years of his presidency, Democrats held control of the House and Senate, but failed to move a comprehensive border security deal.
