The “Live Healthy Ocean County” (LHOC) program, offered by the Ocean County Health Department (OCHD), is a public health initiative designed to promote cardiovascular health and wellness among the residents of Ocean County. This program provides FREE cardiovascular screenings, including blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, pulse, and blood oxygen saturation assessments, alongside nutritional education. Aimed at enhancing the health and wellbeing of the community, LHOC has been actively involved in hundreds of health-related events and venues across Ocean County, such as schools, senior living facilities, libraries, fairs, veteran organizations, businesses, government agencies, and more.

The LHOC program collaborates with a wide range of organizations to reach diverse population groups within the county, including seniors, faith-based communities, Hispanic Spanish-speaking residents, low-income families, African-American communities, and the homeless. This broad engagement ensures that essential health services and education are accessible to those who need them the most.
