Two Seriously Injured in Late-Night Shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A shooting incident late Wednesday night in the Western District has left two individuals injured, prompting an intensive investigation by local authorities. Around 11:01 p.m. last night, patrol officers were dispatched to the intersection of North Paca and West Fayette Streets following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found a 27-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man with gunshot injuries. Immediate medical attention was sought as both victims were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their conditions, while severe, were not specified by officials.

The investigation led detectives to the 1200 block of Druid Hill Avenue, identified as the actual location of the shooting and where a crime scene was subsequently established. Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting or potential suspects have yet to be disclosed.
