Juvenile Suspects Arrested in Baltimore Armed Carjacking

BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore Police Department has announced the arrest of two juveniles following an armed carjacking incident in the city’s Eastern District. On January 28, 2024, at around 1 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Shannon Drive upon receiving a report of a carjacking at gunpoint.

The victim, a female, informed officers that two young males had forcibly taken her vehicle at gunpoint before fleeing the area. Fortunately, she did not sustain any injuries during the incident.

Acting on the descriptions provided, law enforcement officers conducted a thorough search of the vicinity, resulting in the apprehension of two suspects, aged 14 and 15. The juveniles have been taken to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, where they are expected to face charges related to the armed carjacking.
