Evesham Township Police Honor Retired Officer Matt Divito with Recognition Award

Evesham Township, NJ – Chief Miller and the Evesham Township Police Department are proud to announce that Retired Police Officer and current Special Law Enforcement Officer II (SLEO II) Matt Divito is the recipient of the 2023 Retired Member Recognition Award. This prestigious accolade is awarded annually by the Chief of Police to a retired member who has exhibited an exceptional blend of professionalism, ethics, initiative, superior job performance, and dedication to the department’s goals and objectives, as well as service to the Township.

Officer Divito served the Evesham Township community for over 25 years before retiring in 2022. Throughout his illustrious career, he contributed significantly in various roles including Patrol, Canine, and Traffic, earning a reputation for his expertise in investigating serious and fatal motor vehicle accidents. In 2023, Divito rejoined the department as a SLEO II Officer in the Support Services Bureau, where he continues to leverage his skills and experience to benefit the community.

The Evesham Township Police Department and its residents are immensely grateful for SLEO II Officer Matt Divito’s continued contributions and dedication.
