Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Taylor Swift fans said that online conspiracy theories regarding Taylor Swift using her pop popularity to help President Joe Biden win his 2024 election are far-fetched and crazy.

The former New Jersey governor and former Republican presidential candidate, recently addressed what he termed “ridiculous” and “crazy” conspiracy theories suggesting a collusion between Taylor Swift, NFL star Travis Kelce, the NFL, and the Democratic Party aimed at securing the presidential election for Joe Biden.

These allegations have been circulating among some right-wing circles and have even been echoed by Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters.

Christie dismissed these claims during an appearance on “Meet the Press,” where he emphasized the absurdity of linking Swift and Kelce’s relationship to political maneuvering.

Christie praised Taylor Swift as one of the great American success stories, urging the public to celebrate her achievements rather than entangle her in baseless conspiracy theories.

“Outrageous. Ridiculous,” Christie said. “Look, Taylor Swift is one of the great American success stories. We should celebrate her, not having all these crazy conspiracy theories.”
