Egg Harbor Township High School Placed in Shelter Due to Unsubstantiated Threat

Egg Harbor Township, NJ – Egg Harbor Township High School students and staff have been placed in shelter in place this morning following an unsubstantiated threat. The local police department is currently on the scene, responding to the situation.

The decision to implement shelter-in-place protocols was made out of an abundance of caution. The safety of the students and staff is the top priority as authorities work to assess the threat’s credibility. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
