Teaneck, NJ – The Teaneck Department of Public Works (DPW) has declared an “Official Plow and Snow Emergency” as of 8:00 AM this morning, activating specific measures to manage the expected snowfall.

Under Ordinance Sec. 36-10.1, vehicles parked on Teaneck roadways outside of “Exempted Areas” are at risk of being towed or receiving a summons. Residents are encouraged to park in Municipal Parking Lots to facilitate snow removal efforts, where time and meter restrictions will be temporarily lifted. These adjustments will remain in effect for 24 hours following the end of the snow emergency to assist in clearing the streets efficiently.
