Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Delivers Seminar on Leadership and Communication

Atlantic County, NJ – The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office (ACPO) recently held a session to enhance leadership skills and foster communication within the organization.

Assistant prosecutors and detectives gathered under the leadership of Chief Assistant Prosecutor Kate Robinson to explore effective communication strategies between the agency’s departments. The workshop emphasized the importance of open and honest dialogue to strengthen internal communication and collaboration with law enforcement partners across the county.

The session covered key areas such as empathy, active listening, employee motivation, honesty, integrity, and conflict management, to build stronger relationships within the ACPO. Panel members, including Robinson, Lt. James Rosiello, Det. Joseph Procopio, and Assistant Prosecutor Deirdre Laws, shared insights on prosecuting crimes from their diverse perspectives, highlighting the necessity of empathy and understanding in problem-solving.


Robinson emphasized the session’s objective: to reinforce the value of diverse skills within the agency and the importance of supportive communication to achieve the ACPO’s mission. This meeting is part of a series designed to promote leadership development and cooperative efforts within the prosecutor’s office and among law enforcement agencies throughout Atlantic County.
