The attack unfolded on Thursday at around 10:25 AM, when a 29-year-old man on the mezzanine level of the station, serving the “E, M, R” lines, was unexpectedly slashed from behind by an unidentified assailant. The attacker then disappeared from the scene.
The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was listed in stable condition.
