Break-in Reported at West Street Facility; Vehicle Tag Stolen on Copeland Street

Jeff Jones

Annapolis, MD – A facility on the 800 block of West Street was broken into earlier this month, with officers responding to the scene on February 15 at 11:12 AM. The incident involved an unidentified individual breaking a window at the rear of the building between February 5th and 9th, gaining entry, and exiting through the front door. The break-in was discovered on February 9th and reported on February 15th following advice from the property manager, though no items were reported missing from inside the building.

In a separate incident on the same day, Annapolis police were called to the 1800 block of Copeland Street at 12:41 PM for a theft from a vehicle report. The owner of a 2004 Grey Toyota Camry found the MD Tag 8ED0084 missing from the front of her car, which had been parked outside her home for two weeks due to illness, with no suspect information currently available.

Both incidents highlight concerns over property security in Annapolis, with local authorities actively investigating the burglary and theft. The community is urged to report any suspicious activity or information related to these cases.
