Group of Teens Charged with Saturday Night Armed Carjacking in Baltimore

Baltimore, MD – Southern District patrol officers have arrested four juveniles in connection with an armed carjacking that took place late Saturday night.

On February 17, at approximately 10:55 p.m., officers responded to a call in the 1100 block of Washington Boulevard, where a 27-year-old individual reported being accosted by a group of armed juveniles.

The assailants demanded the victim’s vehicle and personal belongings before fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle.


The Baltimore Police Department quickly disseminated descriptions of the suspects and the vehicle. With the aid of aerial support and coordination with ground units, police successfully located the stolen vehicle and the suspects in the 800 block of Vine Street.

The suspects, two 15-year-old males and two 16-year-old males, were apprehended without incident. The 16-year-olds were transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, while the 15-year-olds were taken to the Juvenile Justice Facility. All four juveniles face charges related to the armed carjacking.
