Cambridge Police Visit Local Businesses in Community Safety Initiative

Jeff Jones

CAMBRIDGE, MD – The Cambridge Maryland Police Department has recently intensified its community outreach efforts by engaging directly with local businesses across the city, including the downtown district, to discuss safety and address concerns.

Last week, several officers visited numerous local establishments to foster dialogue on safety and community needs, highlighting the department’s commitment to community-oriented policing. These businesses will soon receive a survey via email to further assess their needs and concerns. Cambridge PD encourages any business not yet contacted to reach out for participation in this initiative.

This move underscores the Cambridge Police Department’s dedication to building stronger community ties and ensuring that the voices of local businesses are heard and addressed, reinforcing their role as integral members of the community.
