Brooklyn Uber Driver Viciously Attacked by Passengers, Robbed

Brooklyn, NY – An Uber driver was assaulted and robbed by his passengers on Schenectady Avenue in a late-night attack.

On Sunday, February 18, at around 10:45 PM, a 61-year-old male Uber driver, while transporting six unidentified passengers, was attacked upon reaching 243 Schenectady Avenue. Five of the passengers assaulted the driver, repeatedly punching him in the head and face before forcibly taking his cellphone. The attackers then fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Schenectady Avenue.

The driver, who sustained minor injuries during the assault, opted not to seek medical attention. Of the five assailants, two are described as males, and three are females. The police are urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward to assist in the investigation and help bring the perpetrators to justice.
