Baltimore, MD – A shooting incident in Baltimore’s Northeast District on Monday has led to the arrest of 27-year-old Michael Armstrong from Cockeysville, Maryland. Police have charged Armstrong with attempted first-degree murder following the shooting of a 42-year-old woman in the 4500 block of Powell Avenue.

The investigation uncovered that the shooting stemmed from a targeted dispute, with Armstrong allegedly shooting the woman, who then drove to the 4500 block of Parkmont Avenue and crashed her vehicle.

The female victim, found with a gunshot wound, was rushed to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The initial findings suggest she was trying to escape an armed assailant when she was shot and her vehicle overturned. Witnesses played a crucial role in quickly identifying Armstrong, leading to his apprehension on the 6000 block of Belair Road.
