Governor Murphy to Attend National Governors Association Winter Meeting in Washington D.C.

Trenton, NJ – Governor Murphy will be attending the 2024 National Governors Association Annual Winter Meeting in Washington D.C. on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 21. He is scheduled to return to New Jersey on the morning of Sunday, February 25.

During Governor Murphy’s absence from the state, Lieutenant Governor Way will assume the role of Acting Governor. The transition is part of the standard procedure when the sitting governor is out of state.

The National Governors Association Annual Winter Meeting is a significant event where governors from across the United States convene to discuss policy and governance. Governor Murphy’s participation underscores New Jersey’s active role in national discussions on these critical issues.
