New Jersey’s Luckiest Casinos Ranked by A.I. Survey

TRENTON, NJ – A recent A.I. based study claims to have identified the luckiest casino in New Jersey, with the Hard Rock Casino taking the top spot. This research, conducted by Casinos.com, analyzed review data from TripAdvisor, focusing on luck-related keywords such as “lucky,” “won,” and “jackpot” among others. The study aimed to determine which of New Jersey’s casinos are the luckiest based on the percentage of positive luck mentions in customer reviews.

Hard Rock Casino emerged as the leader with a 12.1% luck rate, as 56 out of 463 reviews mentioned significant wins or lucky experiences.

Just narrowly missing out on first place, Ocean Casino Resort claimed the second spot with a 12.09% luck rate, showcasing the tight competition at the top. Meanwhile, the Borgata Casino, despite being the most reviewed, ranked seventh with a 10.16% luck percentage, indicating a diverse range of experiences among visitors.

On the other end of the spectrum, the now-defunct Wild Wild West Casino was found to be the unluckiest, with a mere 7.14% luck percentage. This was based on a significantly low number of positive mentions out of over 600 reviews.

Caesars Atlantic City Casino, while not faring well overall, did have the highest number of ‘jackpot’ mentions, suggesting that while fewer in number, the wins there might be more substantial.

The methodology behind this ranking involved an in-depth analysis of TripAdvisor reviews, looking for phrases associated with luck. This approach ensured a fair comparison by normalizing the data based on the number of reviews each casino received. The study provides valuable insights for gamblers looking for a lucky spot in New Jersey, highlighting that while luck is a key factor in gambling, it’s the experience that counts at these establishments.

According to data on file by the New Jersey Gaming Commission, in 2023, Borgata paid out $54 million in gaming wins, leading all casinos. Hard Rock was second with $39 million in winnings. Ocean Casino was third with $25 million in wins.

At the bottom of the pack were Resorts, Golden Nugget, Caesar’s, Bally’s, somewhat confirming the A.I. findings.
