Lavonia, GA – A high-speed chase spanning state lines culminated in a suspect crashing her truck into a cemetery in Georgia, resulting in the arrest of 23-year-old Cheyenne Nicole Collier.

The incident began at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday when an Oconee County deputy in South Carolina noticed a dark blue Scion with a Georgia license plate improperly covered, leading to a traffic stop for the violation and suspicions of the driver’s involvement in a recent shoplifting incident. Upon identification, it was discovered that Collier had a suspended driver’s license and outstanding warrants for possession of methamphetamine and a bench warrant from Walhalla.

Attempting to arrest Collier, the situation escalated when she fled the scene in her vehicle, nearly dragging the deputy along. The ensuing chase led through South Carolina and into Georgia, with law enforcement in pursuit. The chase ended in Lavonia, Georgia, where Collier crashed into a cemetery and attempted to flee on foot before being apprehended.

Cheyenne Nicole Collier has been booked into custody on multiple warrants, marking the end of a cross-state pursuit that ended dramatically in a local cemetery.
