Dash Cam Captures Bus Crash in Lakewood

Lakewood, NJ – A school bus was involved in a three-vehicle collision this morning in Lakewood, New Jersey, resulting in no injuries among the students on board. At approximately 7:48 a.m., an SUV making a left turn on New Egypt Road near Hillside Boulevard was struck by an oncoming car it had cut off.

The collision forced the SUV into the path of a school bus, while the car that hit the SUV rebounded off another vehicle parked alongside the road.

Lakewood Police Captain Greg Staffordsmith confirmed that there were students on the school bus at the time of the incident, but fortunately, none were injured. However, details regarding the number of students or the school they attend were not specified. The incident highlights the importance of road safety, especially in areas frequented by school buses.
