Man Points Loaded Gun At Woman Inside Her Atlantic City Home

Atlantic City, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department announced the arrest of a man who threatened a woman with a gun, following a police response to a domestic disturbance.

On the night of February 20, at approximately 11:38 PM, officers were called to a home on the 300 block of North Connecticut Avenue after reports of a man, identified as Eric Teasley, brandishing a handgun. Teasley, described as extremely agitated, was seen entering and exiting the residence with the weapon.

Sergeant Craig Mulhern was among the first to arrive, quickly detaining Teasley for investigation. It was discovered that Teasley had not only brandished the firearm but also pointed it at a woman and threatened her with violence in front of two children. Officer Joseph Kelly located the loaded handgun, equipped with hollow-point bullets, in the kitchen, leading to Teasley’s arrest.


Eric Teasley, 32, faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of hollow-point ammunition, aggravated assault, terrorist threats, endangering the welfare of a child, and tampering with evidence. He is currently held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
